TotalEnergies and The Royal Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to identify new renewable energy projects in Cambodia and other decarbonization opportunities for possible joint development and investment.

Royal Group is a leading Cambodian conglomerate with extensive experience in originating, developing, and implementing domestic power projects on a joint-venture basis.
At the signing ceremony in Singapore, signatories from both parties were: Neak Oknha Kith Meng, Chairman and CEO of Royal Group, and Ting Wee Liang, Country Chair Singapore, and President of Marketing & Services Asia Pacific and Middle East, TotalEnergies.
“Combining the resources and skills of both organizations will ensure the best research and development of the most optimal renewable projects in Cambodia” remarked Neak Oknha Kith Meng, Chairman and CEO of Royal Group.
“As a global multi-energy company, we are committed to develop new and profitable renewable projects around the world including Cambodia, to help support the country’s energy transition. We have been serving Cambodians since 1993 through our service station network, lubricants and aviation fuel activities.
“Since 2021 we have been operating a 74MWp solar PV project in the Battambang province. We look forward to do more for the climate and local community in Cambodia,” added Ting Wee LIANG, Country Chair of Singapore and President of TotalEnergies Asia Pacific & Middle East, TotalEnergies.
