Revenue Monster expands into green mobility
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Revenue Monster Group, a Malaysian tech solutions provider known for its efforts in the FinTech sector, has announced its foray into the green mobility space as it gets set to undertake a pivotal role in driving Malaysia’s electric vehicle (EV) ambitions towards a target of nationwide carbon neutrality by 2050.

The venture is marked by the announcement of two milestone partnerships: the first was with BlueShark – the EV motorcycle brand, and another with Star Future Energy – a tech-driven energy solutions provider.

Lim Kar Aik, Group CEO of Revenue Monster said, “Revenue Monster Group has always embraced digitalisation and its vast potential. We have always led the way in innovative FinTech and now we are excited to bring our expertise to the green mobility space. Our partnerships with BlueShark and Star Future Energy will see us tap into our pre-existing skill sets to benefit potentially millions of Southeast Asians as electric mobility continues to grow in viability and popularity across the region.”

Through its partnerships, Revenue Monster Group will be leading operations and maintenance of the digital infrastructure of BlueShark’s upcoming smart electric scooter ecosystem. This includes the user smart app which provides users access to features including location mapping, riding statistics, battery performance of the smart vehicle and more.

The app is also able to connect its users with Blueshark’s customer service team through its booking and appointment feature for the repair and maintenance of the EV bikes. Incorporated with Revenue Monster’s payment services, the app will provide leasing options of their EV motorcycles, subscription plans for its battery swapping services and more.

Jeff Chong, Co-Founder & CEO of Blueshark (EPMB BlueShark) said, “Revenue Monster has showcased its dedication to the industry and its excellence in providing fellow Malaysians with comprehensive and streamlined fintech solutions. With their support in our venture in this new app, I wholeheartedly believe that both parties will excel in creating a cleaner environment while also embracing a tech-driven landscape.”

Additionally, Revenue Monster Group will also be facilitating the back-end monitoring system that allows operators to track minute details on usage and rider behaviour. In this role, the fintech Group will be focusing on delivering system versatility and customisation to cater for the needs and requirements within the Southeast Asian market. The app is now available on both Apple Apps Store and Playstore for downloads, and will soon be available on the Huawei App Gallery.

This announcement comes after BlueShark announced a major EV bike deal for over 23,000 bikes to be manufactured and delivered to Indonesia and Vietnam. “Southeast Asia is one of the most diverse and fast-growing economies, with a population of close to 700 million. We are honoured to be providing a system that accounts for the various nuances across the region and in our way powering the green mobility future of the region.”

Revenue Monster Group is further rooting itself within the sustainable mobility space with the announcement of a new partnership with Star Future Energy (SFE), an enterprise that specialises in the creation and implementation of EV charging stations across ASEAN. With this collaboration, Revenue Monster Group will take the lead in developing SFE’s Galaxy Charge Superapp that will aim to provide navigation features to allow users to locate and manage their EV charging stations and integrated payment solutions to facilitate the usage of the charging stations.

Set to be launched in 2Q this year, the Galaxy Charge Superapp will be Malaysia’s first EV charging Superapp. The app will provide its users with convenience and efficiency, including allowing users to select different tiers of subscription and loyalty plans amongst other features.
