The Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) proudly unveils the IP360 Metaverse Platform, an innovative initiative in collaboration with Ammobox Studios Sdn Bhd. This platform aims to showcase Malaysia’s cultural richness and digital creativity to a global audience while pushing the boundaries of immersive technology.
Currently in its Minimum Viable Product (MVP) stage, the IP360 Metaverse Platform delivers high-quality, interactive 3D digital experiences accessible via web browsers, powered by Unreal Engine 5 and Pixel Streaming.
The platform introduces two flagship features:
- Virtual Theme Park: Interactive experiences with beloved Malaysian IPs such as Ejen Ali and Didi and Friends, with the latter set to launch in Q1 2025.
- Digital Museum: Engaging showcases of Malaysia’s heritage through artifact interactions, games, language lessons, and holographic dance performances.

MDEC’s partnerships with Tourism Malaysia, ASWARA, Istana Budaya, and renowned IP brands exemplify a shared mission to elevate Malaysia’s creative industries on the global stage.
MDEC CEO Anuar Fariz Fadzil said: “This year, MDEC supported 38 companies and IP creators through its Metaverse Onboarding Programme, with grants of up to RM200,000 per project to encourage the development of metaverse opportunities.
