Integrated oil and gas services provider Handal Energy Bhd said its subsidiary, Handal Cranes Sdn Bhd and Borneo Seaoffshore Engineering Sdn Bhd (BSOE), have secured four new purchase orders and one contract extension from its clients.
Handal Cranes has accepted a one-off purchase order for the fabrication of a new crane from PT Meindo Elang Indah, an engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) contractor from Indonesia for Pertamina.
Meanwhile, BSOE has secured a one-year contract extension from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for pipeline isolation and additional scope for a riser corrosion prevention system and maintenance.
“In addition, BSOE has secured once-off purchase orders from Shell to provide vendor support for alternating current field measurement (ACFM), equipment and personnel at one of their facilities offshore Sarawak.
“BSOE has also bagged purchase orders from E&P O&M Services Sdn Bhd (EPOMS) for the provision of positive isolation by a mechanical plug for one of their clients,” the company said in a statement.
Group managing director Sunildeep Dhaliwal said these new contracts would allow Handal to improve its revenue stream and further ease cash flow challenges, which is a key enabler in providing a sustainable and rejuvenated service level to its clients.
Similarly, Handal would continue to look for new deployable technologies, including innovative solutions that will benefit and improve clients’ life cycle costs, operations, and asset integrity management, reported the New Straits Times.
“The respective contract extensions also demonstrate clients’ trust and recognition of Handal’s exceptional service capabilities. We are delighted to extend this premier partnership with PCSB, a business relationship established in 2016, with the endeavour to deliver the highest standard of service to support PCSB’s operations,” Dhaliwal said.
