Leader Energy Holding Berhad, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Leader EV Solutions Sdn Bhd, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with BMW Malaysia Sdn Bhd. According to the MOU, BMW branding will be featured in all of Leader EV’s Galaxy Charge network locations along the North-South Highway in Malaysia.
Both companies will collaborate on campaigns promoting vehicle charging for BMW-affiliated brands within Leader EV’s Galaxy Charge network. Leader Energy and its subsidiaries are independent power producers specializing in the development, ownership, operations, and maintenance of power assets and projects.
Under the terms of the MOU, Leader EV will be responsible for developing, installing, operating, and maintaining the Galaxy Charge network. Additionally, Leader EV will actively promote and raise awareness about electric vehicle charging technology. BMW, on the other hand, will ensure public access to charging solutions through subscriptions or membership programs via Leader EV’s Galaxy Charge network.

He stressed their joint commitment to improving public access to charging infrastructure and reducing range anxiety, especially during long-distance journeys.
