Hans de Visser, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia, expressed enthusiasm for supporting Tian Siang Premium Auto’s initiative to drive renewable energy adoption among customers in the region. This move aligns with their vision for electrification in Malaysia, with hopes that this partnership sets an example for the EV landscape and encourages more players to promote renewable energy solutions alongside EVs in the country.
Tian Siang Premium Auto, in conjunction with Vasolar, is offering a complimentary 4.4 kWp rooftop solar panel valued at RM20,000 with the purchase of selected BMW Electric Vehicle (EV) & PHEV models. The installation by Vasolar includes warranties spanning 25 years of Performance, 12 years for PV Modules, 10 years for Inverters, and 3 years for Workmanship.

Gan Chih Soon, Director of TERA VA Sdn Bhd (VASOLAR), expressed excitement about the collaboration’s offering, allowing BMW EV owners to charge their vehicles with cost-free electricity using solar energy. The initiative aims to promote energy self-sufficiency among Malaysians and encourage clean energy use in daily life.
The partnership between Tian Siang Premium Auto and Vasolar is driven by a shared vision of combining BMW EV technology with renewable energy solutions for charging. This collaboration aims to provide holistic responsible energy solutions, enhancing the customer experience and enabling a more environmentally conscious lifestyle.
BMW Group Malaysia has also contributed over 1,000 charging facilities to its network. The collaboration with ChargEV, Yinson Greentech, JomCharge, Gentari, Shell Recharge with ParkEasy, ChargeN’Go, ChargeSini, Go To-U, FlexiParking, and authorized dealerships offers access to these facilities, with more planned in the strategic infrastructure expansion.
